THE FOUNDATION
OF ALHAMDU FC
From a neighbourhood side chasing the Gala Cup to an officially registered football club — this is the record of the people and decisions that built Alhamdu FC.
A Message on Leadership
After careful consideration, Falal Larry Abdul Karim, our General Manager & Founder, has stepped down from Alhamdu Football Club. We appreciate his tireless efforts, leadership and vision in shaping the team, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavours. His legacy and impact on the club will not be forgotten.
Thank you, Falal Larry Abdul Karim, for your dedication, passion and commitment to Alhamdu Football Club.
Where It Began
Alhamdu FC's story starts in 2012, on local pitches, under a different name.
Falal Larry Abdul Karim established the club in 2012 under the name Kaizer Chiefs GH. Under his leadership, the team achieved remarkable success, clinching the Gala Cup and emerging victorious in the tournament — a triumph made possible through the invaluable contributions of coaches James Quartey and Zainu Alhassan, who were invited to the project by Falal Larry Abdul Karim.
The team's journey continued across various tournaments, enabling some players to secure professional contracts in Europe — proof of the talent on the roster and the work put in by all three men behind it. In 2022, Falal Larry Abdul Karim, James Quartey and Zainu Alhassan made the decision to elevate the side to official club status, changing its name to Alhamdu FC and formalising its commitment to excellence and professionalism.
